Berlin reminded of the Russian crime (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

On June 10, Ukrainians held a protest performance "My house was flooded by Russia" to draw attention to the disaster the Russians committed on June 6 in the Kherson region. The "Vitsche Berlin" organization called the Berliners to action at the Schlachtensee Lake.

More than half a thousand people with banners entered the water, appealing to the Germans not to ignore the ecocide organized by the Russian occupiers by blowing up the Kakhovsky HPP. Dozens of German journalists worked at the protest.

 

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine believes that the Russians blew up the dam of the Kakhovka reservoir to try to interfere with the active actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the southDeputy Minister of Defense Hanna Malyar stated this year.

The General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine started a pre-trial investigation into the fact of ecocide and also filed a lawsuit with the International Criminal Court.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the consequences of the crime were the flooding of 78 settlements in the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions, along with parts of the large cities of  Kherson and Mykolaiv themselves. As of June 11, at least six people are known to have died, 35 are considered missing, including seven children. There is no water supply in 34 settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Evacuation of the population and assistance to the victims continues.
