Ilimdar Khodzhametov, a Crimean Tatar fighter of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, was awarded the "Defender of the Fatherland" order by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi.

Before the full-scale war, Ilimdar was an entrepreneur, public figure, and resident of the Q-hub organization. Until 2014, he was a member of the Alushta Mejlis and the head of the Central Committee of the Kurultay of the city of Alushta.
