The occupiers are storming Lysychansk without crossing the river - they use "Solntsepyok"

The Russian army is attempting to capture Lysychansk without crossing the river. The enemy continues to maintain active offensive operations in the direction of Lysychansk and attempts to suppress our defence by defeating them. The enemy is currently conducting an offensive near Verkhnokamyanka and assault operations near the Lysychansky Oil Refinery, and hostilities are ongoing.

The Russian occupation forces managed to breach Ukrainian defences and capture the strategically important settlement of Toshkivka the other day. Because of their numerical superiority in manpower and equipment, the occupiers were able to capture this settlement.

Following the capture of Toshkivka, the enemy advanced towards Lysychansk without crossing the Seversky Donets River.

The front line runs along the Seversky Donets river, which is a natural fortification against which the enemy has repeatedly tried to force its way.

The enemy is constantly shelling the coastal territory of the Seversky Donets River from both the Severodonetsk and Lysychansk sides.

Furthermore, Russian troops are tasked with cutting the "highway of life" Bakhmut-Lysychansk.

So far, the occupiers have mostly failed in their offensive operations around the Bakhmut-Lysychansk highway, attempting to cut off the Ukrainian garrison's supply logistics in Lysychansk. The highway is constantly under enemy fire.

The occupiers are attempting to push the Ukrainian defence towards the village of Bila Gora.

According to local sources, the enemy has had some success in this direction, allowing them to reach the Lysychansk suburbs.

The enemy is moving heavy TOS-1A "Solntsepyok" flamethrower systems into the area of hostilities in order to increase the fire potential in the Lysychansk direction.

The enemy seeks to force Siverskyi Donets in the area of Serebryanka and Bilogorivka settlements in order to develop offensive operations.

The occupiers' intent is demonstrated by the relocation of the pontoon-bridge unit's equipment toward the city of Severodonetsk, as reported by local sources of the CI "Prava Sprava".

Russian troops attempted to breach the administrative borders of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, as previously reported. The breakthrough attempt was contained by the Ukrainian Defense Forces, forcing the enemy to retreat.
