Ukraine will destroy the Kerch Bridge if it receives a "Grim-2" analog

Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, stated on Radio NV that Ukraine is considering the possibility of blowing up the Kerch Bridge in Crimea. Can our defenders take such a step? The Russian side, according to Danilov, uses the bridge to reinforce their groups. He also stated that if possible, the Ukrainian military will destroy the crossing. The Kremlin, on the other hand, threatened to "strike back."

Ukraine possesses the technical capability to strike the bridge.
The Kerch bridge can be destroyed if Ukraine possesses missiles with a range of up to 300 kilometers, destroying Russia's logistics chains.

So far, this opportunity has arisen as a result of our Western partners' announcements, particularly the United States, about providing Ukraine with weapons with a range of up to 300 kilometers.

Furthermore, US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland stated that multiple launch rocket systems, as well as artillery, are included in the latest US aid package and that system delivery is already underway.

As a result, the Russians recognized the dangers that could arise in the logistics of the occupation troops, as well as the threat to the Russian military bases operating in annexed Crimea and ORDLO.

I'd also like to point out that the development of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex "Grim-2," which should be included in the process of re-equipment of the Armed Forces, can provide the same 300 kilometers.

"Grim-2" is a development of the Yuzhnoye Design Bureau. The development was funded by Saudi Arabia. The Grim-2 complex was created to replace the outdated Tochka-U missile systems. The Grim-2 complex was shown for the first time in 2015 at the Arms and Security exhibition in Kyiv.

According to available information, the complex "Grim-2" has a range of up to 300 kilometers. Thus, given the official firing range of 300 kilometers, it is sufficient to destroy any target in Ukraine's temporarily occupied territories. And, if needed, it will be sufficient to reach advanced airfields and military bases in neighboring countries.

At present, Ukraine does not have these weapons for various reasons, so the American partners, taking into account the interests of the Ukrainian side, stated the possibility of providing such weapons.

What was Russia's reaction to this? Russia announced the test of the intercontinental ballistic missile "Sarmat" right away.
According to Kremlin leaders, this should be a kind of military and political pressure on the US. Instead, the US reaction was predictable and calm. They stated that they saw no threats. Furthermore, the US reserves the right to provide Ukraine with additional military assistance for $ 800 million.

When Russia realized it couldn't intimidate the US any longer, it decided to play the role of an angry bear toward Ukraine.
This is evidenced by Russian Federation Security Council Chairman Dmitry Medvedev's aggressive rhetoric. How effective will this type of intimidation be?

The Ukrainian side is capable of responding to any threats in its favor in a dignified manner. Recent events in Russia near Belgorod have raised even more questions for Russia.
In my opinion, we should not focus on Russian threats at all. Furthermore, the missile bombing of Ukraine's civilian infrastructure does not stop for even an hour.
Residential areas in Zaporizhzhia and Odesa had been shelled the day before. This week, Lviv was also attacked. So, what other threats and dangers has Russia posed to Ukraine?

Ukraine now has the opportunity to respond appropriately to the aggressor. And, it seems to me, the destruction of the Kerch bridge will be an adequate response to Russian militants' atrocities on Ukrainian territory. It is necessary to halt the occupying troops' logistics supplies and thwart their plans to build a so-called land corridor from annexed Crimea to ORDLO.
