Western diplomats return to Kyiv, and Russia degenerates into a rogue state

The visits of international leaders to Kyiv demonstrate the partners' trust in the Ukrainian government as well as the consolidation of the West as a whole in the face of the Russian threat.

On April 20, the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, paid a visit to Kyiv, as did the Prime Ministers of Denmark and Spain a day later. Western partners did not publicly announce their visits, most likely for security reasons.

Such international support sends a clear political signal to Russia's occupiers that our Western partners fully trust Ukraine's leadership and President in protecting national interests.

The fact that a significant number of diplomatic missions and institutions have already returned from Lviv to Kyiv is an indication of the level of trust in Ukrainian authorities. This demonstrates trust in the state's ability to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Recent international visits demonstrate our country's political support. Despite the Russian Federation's maneuvering and attempts to show that they are allegedly carrying out a "peacekeeping operation" here, world leaders were able to witness the Russian military's atrocities in the Kyiv region.

Unfortunately, this is the case in all occupied territories. Russia is equated with death, destruction, violence, and looting. And international partners were able to see firsthand what the "Russian world" is like.
Russia, for its part, turned down the UN Secretary-General's proposal for a four-day Easter truce. They claimed that the international community was attempting to allow "nationalists" (as defined by Russian rhetoric) to regroup.

However, in the theater of operations, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have liberated Kyiv, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions without a truce, fully control the Mykolaiv region, and are fighting successful battles in the Kharkiv region and the Joint Forces Operation zone.
Such Russian Federation diplomatic passages provide clear evidence that Russia is becoming a rogue country.
It has no international partners left to send diplomatic signals in support of the Kremlin's policy.

The statement of the German Minister of Defense, who stated under international pressure that Germany would continue to provide arms to Ukraine, is an important indicator of the work of the domestic Foreign Ministry.

Furthermore, the amount of support that Germany will provide to Ukraine's Armed Forces has been specified. Currently, 1 billion euros are set aside for the supply of weapons. During a debate in the Bundestag, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock stated this.
"It is very good and important that we were able to provide for Ukraine a special fund of one billion euros in this budget, a third of which is now directed straight to humanitarian aid," Baerbock said.

We are talking about a long-term program for the rearmament of Ukraine's Armed Forces. However, let me remind you that the day before, there was news that Germany refused to supply Ukraine with heavy weapons.

The Baltic states' statements are also encouraging. Lithuania, in particular, sent us heavy mortars. It also demonstrates the level of trust and unity among countries in the face of the Russian threat.

Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia are well aware that Russian aggression is a possibility. Furthermore, amid recent dubious statements by Belarus President Lukashenko about these countries' allegedly hostile behavior and the increase of NATO forces in the Baltics.

Yulia Svyridenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy stated that Ukraine expects to become a full member of the European Union in 2024.
