THERE ARE NO NAMELESS PEOPLE IN HELL

We saw how enemy tanks entered these cities, villages, and towns in winter. We saw how hundreds of people with blue and yellow flags came out on Kherson, Berdyansk and Kakhovka streets in the spring, and the occupants’ shootings forced them to leave. We saw how unarmed people threw themselves at the invaders armed to the teeth - and with shouts and fists fought off the captured Ukrainians from the Russians, who were shocked by such a way of thinking. We heard how people, inspired by their small victories, shouted "Glory to Ukraine!" and answered, looking through tears at the monitors: "Glory to the heroes!"

And in the summer we stopped seeing and hearing all this. No, the number of heroes among the residents of Kherson, Melitopol, Henichesk, and Novooleksiivka has not decreased. It's just that the shock of the enemies has passed. The massacres began. Residents of the occupied areas began to disappear. Some of them - at night from their homes. Some of them - in broad daylight. How many Ukrainians have been kidnapped by the occupants? The coalition of human rights defenders "Ukraine. 5 am" identified more than three hundred. And these are only those people whose relatives are not afraid to talk about the crime out loud. Add singles to the list. And those whose loved ones are not so brave - or received a clear signal "if you open your mouth - it will be even worse."

However, does the exact number of missing people matter? Any statistics are just numbers. And behind every number, there is a person. That had life, homeland, work, love, hobbies - and all this instantly turned into hell. The stories of those who have been to the occupants’ "basement" and come out alive are chilling. And it’s clear that if hell exists, it is here on earth. On our Ukrainian land. It is very close to us, in the neighboring region, and it’s not tens or hundreds of some unknown people, it’s Yurko, Mrs. Kateryna, Eskender, Mykhailo Petrovych, Natalka...

We must know them by name and face. And not only us. There are only a few people in the world who are capable of rescuing the prisoners of the Kremlin before the Armed Forces of Ukraine do it. Their surnames are Biden, Erdogan, Scholz. The leaders of the world's leading countries can and should put pressure on Putin to release Dmytro, a fisherman from Henichesk, or Appaz, a Crimean Tatar language teacher from Novooleksiivka. And for this, first of all, they must know their names.

Do you remember the story of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, kidnapped by Palestinian terrorists? The guy spent 5 years in captivity, but at the time when he was exchanged, almost every Parisian and Roman knew about Gilad - because they saw his face on the billboards near their homes, not some advertisement for the washing powder.

Did you watch the film "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri"? Its main character rented billboards to punish her daughter's rapist and murderer.

Can you help with outdoor advertising in Madrid, Vienna or Ottawa? Join in! We have already written the names of the prisoners and appeals to world leaders in English, German, Turkish and Russian. Do you know other languages? Translate!

It is our duty to let the world know their names. Because there are no nameless people in hell.
